History

My name is Richard Dieter.

I have been in the road building business for over 35 years.  Starting out as a QC Technician for a very large concrete and asphalt paving company, I quickly learned all the steps involved in creating a long lasting and smooth highway.  We built over 1 million square yards of concrete paving per year for several years running.  I "followed" the paving train with a profilograph, reporting the good news when everything went smoothly, and laying out must grinds when things didn't go so smoothly!  We purchased our own grinding equipment so we could better control our operations.  Soon, I found that other companies similar to ours needed the same services we provided for ourselves. We would provide the grinding services to others as well as our own company.

After 12 years, I had the opportunity to create my own grinding company.  I owned and operated it for several years.  We provided profiling, grinding, grooving, coring, and deep sawing for road builders.  I sold the company to a larger concern which eventually went in a different direction with it's needs. 

Now I have created a new company in which I will be your advocate, reporting directly to you, using all my years of experience to help you achieve your smoothness needs as efficiently as possible!
